GRSA has now received confirmation that it can recommence offering hospitality at each of our venues.  Accordingly we note the following:

  • Food and beverage service will recommence as follows [please be patient as we re-stock and re-staff our venues] ;

    • Murray Bridge – from 12 July 2020

  • There will NOT be a TAB Oncourse presence for the time-being.  GRSA and the other two racing codes are working with TAB to provide a digital oncourse presence.  More information will be made available in the coming weeks;

  • Social distancing conventions MUST be observed and we ask that you respond to reasonable directions from hospitality staff in the same manner;

Owners and members of the general public will be allowed to attend but it is suggested to book in advance in order to avoid disappointment.  Venues are unable to operate at full capacity and it will be necessary to turn people away if the COVID limit is reached;

Racing occurs every Sunday evening and alternate Wednesday lunchtimes at the track, which is located on Kennett Road, Murray Bridge East.

For upcoming race fields and times please click here.

The new function venue is operated by the Murray Bridge Community Club, and they will be offering tasty counter meals for all our participants and visitors as well as providing full bar and TAB facilities. Bookings can be made by calling (08) 8532 3300.

Track Information

The Murray Bridge greyhound racing complex actually comprises of two new tracks - a 1-turn 'horseshoe' track and a 350m straight track that runs parallel to the home straight of the 1-turn track.

Participants visiting Murray Bridge will note the sheer size of the new 1-turn track in comparison to the existing tracks in SA. The 640-metre circumference of the circuit is substantially bigger than Angle Park (457m), Gawler (492m), Strathalbyn (443m) and Port Augusta (520m). The term ‘1-Turn’ track refers to the majority of racing occurring around the home bend.
